The International Conference "Informatization of Education 2010", organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education, Belarusian State University, Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank with financial support of UNESCO Moscow Office, was held in Minsk, Republic of Belarus, on 27-30 October, 2010. The United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) for the Republic of Belarus for 2011-2015 is the first joint strategy of the UN agencies acting in Belarus. On 28 September 2010 within the framework of the UNESCO World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education held in Moscow IITE organized a special event Recognizing the potential of ICTs in early childhood education.

Inter-regional research and practice conference "Educational space of the Arctic: development through dialog and cooperation" was carried out on 3-6 August 2010 in Yakutsk (Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Russian Federation). The Business Forum “Russia – Africa: Horizons of Cooperation” took place in Moscow on 15-16 June, 2010, within the International Parliamentary Conference “Russia – Africa”.
