IITE became a co-organizer of the 4th International Conference on Application of Information and Communication Technologies (AICT2010). The conference was held on 12-14 October 2010 in Tashkent (the Republic of Uzbekistan). On 28 September 2010 within the framework of the UNESCO World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education held in Moscow IITE organized a special event Recognizing the potential of ICTs in early childhood education.

Inter-regional research and practice conference "Educational space of the Arctic: development through dialog and cooperation" was carried out on 3-6 August 2010 in Yakutsk (Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Russian Federation). The Business Forum “Russia – Africa: Horizons of Cooperation” took place in Moscow on 15-16 June, 2010, within the International Parliamentary Conference “Russia – Africa”.
