Tender on ICT application in education: CIS experience

UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education (IITE) invites interested experts from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) to take part in the tender for the development of analytical materials on CIS experience in the field of ICT application in education.

As a result of the tender, one expert from each country of the pilot region (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Ukraine) will be selected to prepare the analytical review.

The main objective of the review is strengthening of CIS capacities in the field of ICT application in education. The analytical review is aimed at studying ICT policy development in education, including strategic planning, legal and regulatory aspects, infrastructure development, etc. The focus of the review will be on the issues of ICT application in higher education, as well as studying of national experience in teacher training and professional development.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • University Degree in Education or/and Information Technologies;
  • At least five years of professional experience in research, training/teaching activities or/and administrative work in educational settings;
  • Excellent skills in large-scale information analysis;
  • Proficiency in the Russian language.
