II Moscow Young Teachers Forum “Young Teacher: Professional Standard and Vectors of Development” was held on 19 April – 7 May, 2016, in Moscow. It was attended by more than 250 young teachers. The roundtable and coaching session “Education and Sustainable Development: Implementing Innovations and Multiplying Experience” was the final stage of the Forum and took place on 3-7 May 2016. Forum was organized by the Moscow Institute of Open Education in cooperation with the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education (UNESCO IITE) and with the assistance of State Educational Government-Financed Institution of Higher Professional Education of the City of Moscow «Moscow City Teacher Training University», the Educational Institution of Moscow «Pushkin Lyceum №1500» and ANO "Student Initiative "Imagine" (European Youth Parliament – Russia).
The roundtable was aimed to familiarize Moscow young teachers with the international agenda of the United Nations in the field of education and discuss a broad range of issues in the field of international cooperation and realization of the Sustainable Development Goal 4, which focuses on providing quality education. Ms. Elena Tarasova, Programme Assistant of UNESCO IITE, made a presentation “ICT for Inclusive and Equitable Quality Education and Lifelong Learning for All” about the Institute’s activities and partnership with the UNESCO networks, academic and private sectors. Moscow young teachers expressed their interest in the participation of their students in various international projects and welcomed opportunities of broadcasting their professional experience, which are created within the networking of educational institutions.
