On 17-18 April 2011, within IITE “ICTs in Primary Education” project, IITE held an expert meeting, organized in cooperation with the French National Centre for Distance Education (CNED) in in Poitiers, France.
The “ICTs in Primary Education” project, launched by IITE in 2011, aims to facilitate the policy dialogue and build foundation for effective primary education by means of ICTs.
The expert meeting was the first in the series of activities under the project. It’s main purpose was to establish the project expert team and effective mechanisms of coordination among the project team members, define the role of each expert and discuss the project strategy and implementation plan.
The project expert team, established at the meeting, is comprised of specialists from Chile, Hong Kong, Hungary, Russian Federation, Slovakia, South Africa, UK and USA. It discussed the ways of project implementation and activities to be undertaken within the project. The strategy and implementation plan will be available in the near time at the project web site.
