New UNESCO IITE publication is out of press

A new publication UNESCO IITE publication “Future for Higher Education and ICT: Changes Due to the Use of Open Content” is fresh from the press. The publication summarizes the results of the Institute’s project “Access, Equity and Quality: Envisioning the Future of Higher Education in a Digital Age” implemented in Education (UNESCO IITE) in 2014-2016. The project was aimed to identify the current trends related to the use of open and online education and to bring evidence to the debate about the future changes expected due to the use of new approaches to teaching and learning, new technologies and new forms of content developed for higher education. UNESCO IITE Open Lectures videos are now available online

UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education (UNESCO IITE) invites all interested specialists to view the video featuring the lectures delivered by leading international experts in the area of open education and use of ICT in education. The video materials were recorded within the Series of Open Lectures "ICT in Education and Sustainable Development Goals: Innovation for Quality, Openness and Inclusion" held by UNESCO IITE in cooperation with the St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation. UNESCO IITE at the V St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum

The Round Table “Russian State Language Policy and the Present Status of the Russian Language in the World” was held in the framework of the V St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum on December 2, 2016. The event was organised by the Russian Committee for the UNESCO Information for All Programme, Interregional Library Cooperation Center, St. Petersburg Branch of the Russian Book Union and the Mayakovski St. Petersburg City Library under financial support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
