UNESCO IITE invites interested organizations to submit proposals to further strengthen the TeensLIVE and ParentsLIVE Armenia digital platforms within the framework of its regional HIV and health education programme for Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Background
TeensLIVE and ParentsLIVE are youth-led, evidence-based digital platforms providing accessible, reliable and age-appropriate information for adolescents, young people and parents on:
- mental health and resilience;
- health and well-being, including HIV prevention;
- bullying and digital safety;
- positive masculinity and gender equality;
- future planning and career guidance.
The platforms combine expert knowledge, peer-to-peer engagement, digital storytelling and community-based activities to support adolescents, young people and their families in navigating sensitive health and relationship topics in a safe and supportive environment.
Objective of the Assignment
The selected organization will support the further development of TeensLIVE and ParentsLIVE Armenia as trusted digital spaces for adolescents, young people and parents by strengthening digital engagement, expanding editorial formats and supporting meaningful youth participation.
Scope of Work
The selected organization will be responsible for implementing activities including:
- developing and implementing a structured editorial strategy aligned with key thematic priorities;
- producing short-form and long-form digital content across key social media platforms;
- implementing engaging content formats such as expert explainers, myth-busting series, youth–parent dialogue formats, podcasts and moderated discussions;
- designing interactive digital campaigns and user-generated content initiatives;
- developing and maintaining structured knowledge archives and educational resources;
- organizing offline and hybrid youth engagement activities;
- recruiting, mentoring and coordinating youth volunteers and the Youth Editorial Board;
- applying safeguarding and ethical communication standards in digital interactions;
- conducting monitoring and reporting on project implementation and engagement metrics.
Required Organizational Experience and Capacity
Applicant organizations should demonstrate:
- at least 5 years of organizational experience in implementing digital media, youth engagement, communication or educational projects;
- demonstrated experience in managing digital platforms and producing multi-platform content for youth audiences;
- experience implementing youth-focused initiatives in the Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA) region;
- experience working with youth volunteers, peer educators or youth-led communities;
- organizational capacity to manage digital communication strategies, content production and online community engagement;
- familiarity with safeguarding principles and ethical communication standards when working with adolescents and young people.
Languages
Fluency in Armenian and English is required. Knowledge of Russian is an asset.
Duration
The assignment is expected to be implemented over a nine-month period, structured in three implementation phases.
Submission of Proposals
Interested organizations are invited to submit the following documents:
- a Technical Proposal outlining the proposed methodology, implementation approach and workplan, with examples or a portfolio of similar projects implemented by the organization;
- a Financial Proposal, including a detailed cost breakdown by budget line for the proposed activities.
