News of UN agencies and organizations for the period from September to December 2025 is available in the third issue of the “UN in Russia” Bulletin.
This issue includes the article about the webinar “Teach and Learn with AI”, held by UNESCO IITE and the International Centre for Higher Education Innovation under the auspices of UNESCO (UNESCO-ICHEI) within the joint project “Digital Transformation of Higher Education in Central Asia”. Two new Russian-language self-paced micro-learning online courses for higher education teachers were presented at the webinar: “Generative AI and Learning Progress Assessments” and “How to Teach Students to Use Generative AI for Learning”. These courses further explore the topic of empowering higher education teachers to unlock the potential of GenAI to transform their education practices and to use AI-enabled tools for pedagogical enhancements, that was covered by two Russian-language online courses developed and launched in early 2025: “Generative Artificial Intelligence as a Teaching Tool in Higher Education” and “Prompt Engineering for Higher Education Teachers”. All four courses can be studied separately as self-contained thematic learning resources or sequentially as components of a more comprehensive professional development programme.
