On 15 November 2011, IITE has organized a first Partners Meeting at the Balchug Kempinsky hotel, Moscow. The members of the IITE Governing Board, the representative of the leading IT companies and academic communities were participated in the meeting.
Global partnership in the sphere of ICT use in education is one of the IITE priorities. The Institute cooperates with leading universities, international professional associations, non-governmental organizations and private IT-companies. During the meeting, the partnership agreements between UNESCO IITE and IFIP (International Federation for Information Processing), Microsoft, Cisco Systems were signed. The company DYMO Mimio has donated to the Institute the equipment for training activities of the IITE.
The partnership between UNESCO IITE and its key partners opened a new phase of their collaborative work on identifying new ways to tackle issues of ICT use in education and innovative educational technology development and implementation.
