On 2 November 2011, the Report by the Governing Board of the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education (IITE) on the Institute’s activities for 2010-2011 was presented at the Education Commission Session of the 36th General Conference. The report was delivered by Prof. Bernard Cornu, the Chairman of the IITE Governing Board.
According to Bernard Cornu “the delivery capacity of the Institute has reinforced and the scope of activities and their impact broadened. The geographical scope of IITE activities has been significantly expanded during the last two years: 56 countries have been covered by recent IITE activities. Through its diverse actions IITE managed to improve its performance in providing Member States with policy advice, capacity development and knowledge services in the field of ICT in education.”
During the General Conference the IITE report and CD ROM with all publications were distributed widely.
