Strengthening TeensLIVE and ParentsLIVE Armenia (2026)

Call for Proposals

UNESCO IITE announces a call for proposals to further strengthen TeensLIVE and ParentsLIVE Armenia within the framework of its regional HIV and health education programme for Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

Background

TeensLIVE and ParentsLIVE are youth-led, evidence-based digital platforms providing accessible, reliable and age-appropriate information on:

  • Mental health and resilience
  • Health, including HIV prevention
  • Bullying and digital safety
  • Positive masculinity and gender equality
  • Future planning and career guidance

The platforms combine expert knowledge, peer-to-peer engagement, digital storytelling and offline community activities to support adolescents, young people and their parents in navigating sensitive health and relationship topics.

Objective of the Assignment

The selected Contractor will further strengthen the platforms as trusted digital spaces for adolescents and their families by:

  • Expanding digital reach and relevance across key social media platforms;
  • Increasing audience engagement and retention through high-quality editorial formats;
  • Enhancing the YouTube long-form presence and cross-platform integration;
  • Developing interactive knowledge archives and safe-space discussions;
  • Strengthening offline and hybrid youth engagement;
  • Formalizing and expanding the volunteer pipeline and Youth Editorial Board;
  • Ensuring safeguarding, ethical communication and risk management standards in all activities.

Scope of Work

The Contractor will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing a structured editorial strategy based on defined thematic pillars and quarterly focuses;
  • Producing short-form and long-form digital content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Telegram;
  • Implementing structured content formats such as expert deep-dives, myth-busting series, youth–parent perspective reels, podcasts, and moderated debate formats;
  • Designing and implementing interactive online challenges and user-generated content initiatives;
  • Developing and regularly updating structured knowledge archives;
  • Organizing offline and hybrid youth engagement events;
  • Recruiting, mentoring and supporting volunteers, including the establishment of a structured onboarding and mentorship mechanism;
  • Applying safeguarding protocols for anonymous questions, podcasts and community interactions;
  • Conducting regular monitoring and reporting on performance and impact.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in digital media management and youth-focused communication;
  • Strong understanding of adolescent health, HIV prevention, mental health and gender equality issues;
  • Experience in working with youth volunteers and community-based initiatives;
  • Capacity to manage multi-platform content production and online community engagement;
  • Familiarity with safeguarding and ethical communication standards.

Duration

The assignment will be implemented over a nine-month period, structured in three implementation phases.

  • A technical proposal outlining the proposed methodology and implementation approach with relevant portfolio or examples of similar work ecnlosed;
  • A financial proposal;
