Invitation to Webinars – Supporting Neurodiversity with Technology

Millions of neurodiverse students worldwide face barriers to meaningful participation in education, with those having autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties often at greatest risk of exclusion.

UNESCO IITE and Central China Normal University are pleased to announce the upcoming joint webinars Webinar 1- Innovations in Practice: Child- and Teacher-Focused Approaches and Webinar 2 – Systemic Innovation: Policy, Place, and Provision. The co-hosted online webinars are organized within the framework of the UNESCO-CCNU project, EmpowerEd: Enabling Inclusive teaching and learning through ICT and AI-Driven Solutions showcasing results of the Research, which was conducted as part of the project to document best practices from six continents that demonstrate how Artificial Intelligence (AI), Information and Communication Technology (ICT), and Assistive Technology (AT) can create truly inclusive leaning environments. These two webinars aim to disseminate findings, share lived expertise, and build dialogue across practitioners, researchers, and policymakers to shape inclusive, ethical, and sustainable adoption of AI/ICT in education. For more information, please read the Concept Note.

This initiative aligns with UNESCO’s global mandate to ensure inclusive, equitable, and quality education for all, and responds to growing international interest in how AI and digital transformation can reduce rather than reinforce inequities in education.

The programme is set to run 1,5 hrs from @9am (СЕТ) via Zoom.
