UNESCO IITE at a Public Talk on Pedagogy and Innovation in Kostanay Region

How to use artificial intelligence in education? Can podcasts and blogs be considered pedagogical tools? What does the practice of using inverted and hybrid learning methods give? The discussion of these and other issues was organized by the Institute of Professional Development in Kostanay region (Kazakhstan) on 31 October 2023. 

UNESCO IITE took part in this public talk “Pedagogy and Innovation: Contact Points” aimed at a broad discussion of innovations in the field of pedagogical tools and practices, creative initiatives and learning technologies that ensure the development and qualitative improvement of the education system. Ms. Tatiana Murovana, UNESCO IITE Programme Specialist, shared with the participants information about UNESCO’s activities in the field of the use of artificial intelligence in education and useful resources in this area, such as the Global Education Monitoring Report for 2023, Guidance for Policy-makers “Artificial Intelligence and Education”, Guidance for Generative Artificial Intelligence in Education and Research, etc. She also presented the policy brief ”AI in Education: Change at the Speed of Learning”, published by UNESCO IITE in Russian and English.
