On May 20, 2025, the Fifth All-Russian Congress of UNESCO Chairs was held at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics with the assistance of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO.
The Director of the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education Tao Zhan participated at the Congress. The UNESCO Education Sector was represented by Mr. S. Tawil, Director of the Division “Future of Learning and Innovation”. The Congress was attended by the heads of UNESCO Chairs and UNITWIN networks, representatives of the Russian Committees for UNESCO programs.
