On the initiative of the Republican Association of Private Education Organizations (RAPEO) of the Republic of Kazakhstan and with the support of the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education (IITE), twenty video lessons in Kazakh and Russian languages were created for healthy lifestyle classes.
To help teachers, a manual has been developed with recommendations on how to organize and conduct such training sessions using these video lessons, the topic of each of which corresponds to one or more topics presented in the curricula of the course “Global Competencies”, subjects “Biology”, “Fundamentals of Law”, “Informatics” and others for grades 5-11.

In addition, a manual “Using Video Lessons to Conduct Healthy Lifestyle Classes and Trainings in Grades 5-11 in General Education Schools” was developed, which includes lesson plans in the form of trainings for practicing skills in managing emotions, effective communication, decision-making, setting and achieving goals, developing self-confidence, preventing bad habits, violence and bullying.
