UNESCO IITE participated in the interregional pedagogical festival “In Dialogue 2025”.

The interregional pedagogical festival “In Dialogue 2025”, organized by UNESCO IITE partners the Charitable Foundation “Investment in the Future” and the Moscow Pedagogical University, took place from 7 to 11 April 2025.

The festival was dedicated to the development of dialog in education: its importance in the personal development of a child and its influence on the success of educational processes. “In Dialogue 2025” used an interactive format, relying on the exchange of experience and knowledge between speakers, as well as communication with the audience. For example, the format of MOSTs – open webinars, where interregional learning communities of educators from the Developing Environment program shared their methodological developments. The Developing Environment Program, implemented by the Investment in the Future Foundation and Moscow Pedagogical University, helps schools and kindergartens change their organizational culture so that children can meet their key psychological needs and develop personal maturity.

The festival ended with the VIII All-Russian Scientific and Practical Online Conference “Educational Environment for Well-Being and Development: Values, Culture, Practice”. The participants of the conference, which was attended by more than 1800 online listeners, discussed the prospects and ways of incorporating innovative methods of personal development of children and adults in education.

The In Dialogue 2025 program demonstrated a variety of methods for creating a personal development environment in educational institutions: festival events, reading practices, film pedagogy, and others.

Tigran Yepoyan, Advisor on Education and Health at UNESCO IITE, spoke at the opening of the festival on April 7 about the importance of developing students’ social and emotional skills, preventing discrimination and bullying in schools, and the need for a comprehensive approach to maintaining the mental health of all participants in the educational process.
