Yerevan, Armenia — The UNESCO IITE and ParentsLIVE Armenia have launched a new project aimed at helping Armenian families to improve communication and relationships between parents and children, and become stronger and happier. The project offers a wide range of podcasts, webinars, and workshops featuring leading experts. It is growing rapidly and has a great chance to become an indispensable resource for parents of teenagers across the country.
Useful Podcasts For Modern Parents
ParentsLIVE Armenia’s educational and entertaining podcasts have struck a chord with parents seeking guidance during the challenging teenage years. These episodes, available on YouTube and other platforms, are devoted to such crucial topics as parent-teen relationships, bullying prevention among teenagers and how to develop healthy lifestyle habits.
Some highlights from the series include:
- Psychologist Nune Vardanyan offers effective strategies for resolving conflicts and developing stress resistance attitude in teens.
- Psychologist Anahit Arzumanyan assists parents in recognizing when their children are being bullied, both online and offline, and offers strategies for dealing with it.
- Doctor-narcologist Suren Nazinyan discusses the complexities of teenage addiction, teaches parents how to recognize the signs of risky behavior and shares his recommendations how to help a teenager.

The response from listeners has been overwhelmingly positive. One parent shared, “I used to struggle to find reliable parenting advice in Armenian, especially for teenagers, but these podcasts have been a game-changer. The practical tips from experts have made a real difference in our family life.”
A Growing Social Media Community: To Unite and Support Parents
ParentsLIVE Armenia’s social media presence has blossomed into a vibrant community where parents can find guidance and connect with others facing similar challenges. The number of regular subscribers to ParentsLIVE Armenia pages has reached 7,700 and more than 150,000 people have watched the materials posted there, what indicates the increasing trust to the new resource.
A recent collaboration with popular mom blogger Gayane Phogosyan has garnered over 110,000 views, illustrating the project’s broad appeal. A similar campaign with IQ Center Global Education has garnered 20,000 since the project’s release.
One of the social media followers expressed gratitude, saying, “Your project is a lifeline. Schools don’t always help with such issues like bullying, so your content has been invaluable. I’ve even shared your insights with other parents in my community.”
Webinars and In-Person Events: Strengthening Family Bonds
ParentsLIVE Armenia has also hosted a series of webinars in partnership with the NGO (non-government organization) Parenting School Armenia, attracting over 270 participants. These sessions focus on positive and conscious parenting, developing adequate self-esteem in teenagers and building their personality.
In addition to online events, a workshop on improving family communication was organized in one of the coworking spaces in Yerevan as a part of this initiative. It was attended by 42 people – parents and their teenage children. One of the participants shared her impressions, “As a mother of two teenagers, I found the event incredibly valuable. We left with stronger relationships and a deeper understanding of each other.”
Looking Ahead: Expanding Reach and Impact
As ParentsLIVE Armenia continues to grow, it remains dedicated to its mission of empowering families. Plans are underway to expand the podcast series, deepen social media engagement, and offer a broader range of webinars. Upcoming collaborations with healthcare specialists, influencers, and fathers promise to bring new perspectives to the platform.
