On 11 February 2025, an online training programme was initiated by the Investment in the Future Charitable Foundation, UNESCO IITE and the Moscow Pedagogical State University (MGPU).
The training programme is intended for teachers of pedagogical universities and colleges, institutes of professional development of education workers, institutes of education development, workers of methodological offices and other specialists engaged in training and professional development of teachers and students of pedagogical universities.
The programme commenced with webinars conducted by experts from the Foundation and Moscow State Pedagogical University, which were attended by over 200 specialists from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Belarus, including school teachers. The content of these webinars focused on approaches to creating an environment in educational organisations that promotes personal growth of students and development of their social and emotional skills.
A significant component of the training programme is the Healthy Lifestyle module, which is facilitated on the international educational platform EduHub.This module aims to enhance the participants’ understanding of strategies to cultivate knowledge and attitudes among students in educational institutions, promoting healthy living, safeguarding their well-being, preventing violence and bullying, and fostering global competencies, personal and social (“life”) skills.
The online training programme is scheduled to conclude on 23 April, and upon successful completion, participants will be awarded a professional development certificate from the Moscow State Pedagogical University and an EduHub-ITE UNESCO certificate.
