So, what is EduHub?
UNESCO IITE and the ЕduHub team feature a new international e-learning platform on adolescent health and well-being. The e-courses available on the platform are aimed to develop in-depth knowledge and essential trainer skills in three key areas:
- Preventing school violence, bullying and cyberbullying
- Comprehensive sexuality education
- Promoting parent-adolescent mutual understanding
These e-courses will benefit the staff of educational institutions willing to create and maintain a safe and enabling learning environment; teachers; psychologists; workers of youth organizations; health and wellness educators; parents; and experts in child-parent relationships.
The platform offers two types of e-courses:
- Basic courses for independent study of text and video materials, followed by test assignments. Estimated course completion time is 4 to 6 hours. Learners can start a course at any time.
- Advanced courses for learning as part of a group making with an opportunity to participate in discussions with experts and peers, completion of practical assignments and receiving feedback from the course mentors. Estimated study time is 20 to 40 hours. Courses start several times a year, according to schedule.
All EduHub courses are free for learners. Prior registration is required for advanced courses. Those who successfully complete a course will receive a certificate.
