UNESCO IITE invites qualified individuals to submit proposals for the role of Communications Specialist for the “OILO” project. The selected specialist will contribute to the growth and success of this innovative initiative that utilizes an AI chat-bot to engage adolescents in conversations on sexuality education, reproductive health, gender equality, and the prevention of gender-based violence.
Project Overview: “OILO” has achieved success on social media platforms Instagram and its dedicated website. The 2024 expansion plan involves a focus on video content and integration with TikTok.
Responsibilities: The Communications Specialist will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining a publication schedule for social media platforms with a focus on video content.
- Coordinating the creation of visual materials, including promotional content.
- Organizing targeted social media campaigns and influencer partnerships.
- Seeking partners for continuous project development on social media.
- Providing user support and fostering community development.
- Recruiting and coordinating volunteers.
- Coordinating with the technical team to address chat-bot errors and update materials.
Qualifications: Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Relevant education and in communications, marketing, digital media, or related fields.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience, preferably in the fields of social media management and content planning.
- Proficiency in Russian and Kyrgyz, with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
