Last call for participation in the 6th Global Competition on Design for Future Education (deadline – 31 May 2023)

About the Activity

The 6th Global Competition on Design for Future Education, jointly organized by Beijing Normal University (BNU) and UNESCO IITE, encompasses a variety of events in 2023. As a component of this initiative, the Call for Videos is being launched under the theme of “5-Minute Mini Lesson on Knowledge Points in K12.” Its purpose is to solicit contributions from primary and secondary school teachers across the globe, who will elucidate key concepts in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and information technology within the K12 curriculum.

Phases

  • Video Submission and Public Review: March 1st – May 31st, 2023

Primary and secondary school teachers are required to register and submit their videos on the E-Library platform (https://elibrary.iite.unesco.org/). The Organizing Committee will conduct the initial review, and the selected videos will be made available for public review on the official Douyin account (Username: GCD4FE) and YouTube channel (Username: GCD4FE). Participants and viewers are encouraged to repost, comment, and like their favorite videos.

  • Expert Review and Results Announcement: June, 2023
  • Video Promotion: July-August, 2023

Prizes

Winners will receive certificates issued by UNESCO IITE, and the winning videos will be showcased at the Beijing International Design Week. Awards will be given for categories such as best video designs, best video innovation, best video editing, and most popular video. Outstanding videos will be promoted through the official website, Weibo, Douyin, Twitter, YouTube, and other platforms.
