UNAIDS and UNESCO IITE co-launch a flash-mob and a video-chat on the World AIDS Day in Russia

UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education (IITE) together with UNAIDS and social network Odnoklassniki are launching an on-line marathon #myrighttohealth. It is supported by such celebrities as Vera Brezhneva, Lika Dlugach, Victoria Lopyreva, Olga Markes, Asya Kasantseva, Paulina Sinyatkina and others who will gather on December 1st for a live broadcast in the ok.ru/test group.

Famous presenter Lika Dlugach and UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassador for Eastern Europe and Central Asia singer Vera Brezhneva will host the discussion about the right to health and answer questions from the audience together with the star guests.

All followers can contribute to AIDS response by joining #myrighttohealth flashmob – find more information at OK.RU/TEST. One can also check their HIV awareness level by taking a test – answering 13 questions about HIV and AIDS.

The discussion will also touch upon the issues of education. TigranYepoyan, UNESCO regional advisor on HIV and health education together with a journalist and science evangelist Asya Kasantseva will talk about the importance of scientifically correct information versus groundless speculations often made by so-called AIDS dissidents.
