Moscow International Education Fair 2017
The Moscow International Education Fair 2017 (MIEF 2017), organized by Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation in cooperation with UNESCO IITE and other organizations, will take place at the VDNH, pavilion № 75 on April 12-15, 2017.
The MIEF’s focus in this year is the New Education Ecosystem. The Fair will become a map of educational industries with individual navigation for all participants: best practices, developments, products and services of the professional and business community will be presented both in the Program and on the exhibition space.
The leading Russian and international educational and scientific organisations, representatives of federal and regional ministries and departments, heads and specialists of pre-school, general, vocational secondary, higher and supplementary education institutions from Moscow, Russian regions and the international community, as well as students and their parents will participate in the Fair. Over 1,000 experts and 400 exhibitors have been invited to take part in the MIEF. 60,000 visitors are expected to attend in the Fair.
UNESCO IITE will take part in the MIEF exhibition and business events. The Institute will conduct the session «ICT and Education 2030: Extending opportunities for the lifelong digital education. Best practices of the UNESCO IITE and its partners from the ICT industry" in the conference-hall “Confucius” (pavilion № 75) on 14 April 2017, 3-6 p.m. The event will bring together leading experts in ICT in Education, IITE’s business partners, heads of educational institutions, teachers and students. All interested persons are invited to attend. The Programme of the seminar will be published later in the Announcements section of the UNESCO IITE web-site. Admission to all MIEF events, including the seminar, is free of charge. Participants shall bear all the expenses related to their attendance at the seminar.
